re: UA/ base layer shirt

As long as the cost isnt more than 10$ over regular retail (retail for short sleeve regular under armour is 25$, long sleeve 30$ last I checked), I'd be all for it. I sent email to under armour to check their pricing for you guys.

I used some kind of pine from home depot just to be cost effective (not sure which specie... sorry) It's kind of insane how accurately you nailed what I'm aiming for - a really fast edging alpine ski. And skince most of the skiing I do is on hard pack and (unfortunately) ice, that's exactly what I'm...

One quick clarification would help a lot - does the stiffness come from the epoxy and fiberglass? Or just the fiberglass? The epoxy I can get has a hardness (Shore D) of 60 vs. 80 in most of the commonly used ski stuff. This is a signifigant amount, but with 22oz triaxial fiberglass (I cou7ld do 2 l...

I could get any of the 3M epoxys. Here is one example: http://multimedia.mmm.com/mws/mediawebserver.dyn?6666660Zjcf6lVs6EVs666yz0COrrrrQ- (linked from http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/!ut/p/kcxml/04_Sj9SPykssy0xPLMnMz0vM0Q9KzYsPDdaP0I8yizeIN_Rw0i_IcFQEAJc3WMM!?PC_7_0_72L_root=GST1T4S9TCgv&PC_7...

Epoxy

I know a guy who works for 3M and has offered me virtually unlimited free epoxy. The problem is - it is the type of epoxy used with fiberglass on the inside of car bumpers for rigidity. He says he is not sure if it will be too stiff- but he admits he is no expert on this matter. I need your knowledg...

Thanks!

Do you leave teh compressor running at your desired PSI (lets say 45) for the 8-12 hours of press, or do you fill the bladder then turn it off?

Air Compressors for Pneumatic Press

I've been looking on the site and through the forums, but I can't find many specs on compressors. What specs would you reccomend? I can get one that delivers 5.4CFM, will that do? I figure 7 feet of hose x 2.5in radius works out to ~11.5 cubic feet. This seems like it would not work but I don't know...

According to snowboardmaterials.com 1 litre is enough for 1 snowboard. That is without making a laminated core though. I'd guess 1 litre a ski, so 2 for both (if you laminate the core). But im not sure.

Assymetrical Cores

Has anyone expermimented with assymetrical cores? It would involve a specific right and specific left ski, but it could be very cool.
