Well I dont want to compete with Lindsay from snowboard materials since he has been such a good source, but I also dont know if he does anything for skiiers. I could certainly give you a hand though if you want something really custom with custom profiles. Cost, I dont know at this point, depends on...

I just pulled a board out of my press and had the same issue. Maybe I should try letting it cool in there too?

Try some of the boat building guys in Maine. They should be able to give you some scrap, or at least a supplier. Or call vectorply for some samples. Fiberglass supply also has what you are looking for.

Anyone interested in stainless edges?

I am trying to get quotes for tooling, but I want stainless edges, and get them in uncut rolls. Anyone interested? I will post back when I have a quote but I figure the more we can split the tooling cost the better. I am in the US, Mass to be exact.

Have any of you found good deals on stainless, seamless (rolls) edges? The one place I can find is http://metalldeutsch.com. However, they want me to have a Euro tax ID, charge for a small order (300kg is small!!!) and it is going to be a pain to deal with. Thanks!

Stainless edges in US?

Has anyone found stainless edges in the US? Or uncut/coiled rolls of edges (less than having to buy 300 lbs)? I talked to CDW and they only sell huge coils, and sounded like I had NO hope of ever getting stainless from them. I hate dealing with overseas purchases. Thanks

A belt sander would be better for hand tools.

I can help you out. The CNC should be here in a week or so, and then give me a couple weeks to set it up. This might be after you leave but let me know. I will post once things are running here.
