Hey vin consider drawing your core in a 2d profile and then extruding on the third axis to a 3d shape.

9 oz in a uni carbon in a 12k is super stiff. Weird you wiuld need that above and below unless the ski is super narrow, like 70mm underfoot. I think maybe you are iust overgrinding. Have you done a few 100 grit passes to get the epoxy off then send then to a shop to do final grind, bevel and stone? ...

Perhaps your tc position is off? I would do the tests again with all your al in there. Are you cooling slightly before pulling? We pull at 150f-160f.
We had flatness issues when pulling at 180-170f.

I roll that shit out on the cnc and cut right away. Strap it to a template and egde it the next day. No issues.

Yes its a primer coat they apply and it also prevents against rust. If theres no rust just wipe down with a light solvent and go.

Yeah I have a super simple chinese thermostat on a 3000 watt 240v blanket. It ocilates a few degrees rather than the pid ssr controllers I have but super cheap and simple. Gets warm at 350f it the pid ones get warm also at 180f.

The plastic is denser than wood. Makes for more moment in the tips. Ur skis may not be heavy but more weight in the tips then there needs to be.
ur just adding more weight to the tips.
