Are you using the "Joe wood worker set up" with a vacuum reservoir? Skip it and run the pump continuously, then you don't have to bother about tiny leaks. :)

chrismp should have all the creds regarding the sublimation. ;) I used all my fuel on the ski pressing part. I don't think anything other than silicone would do for complex shapes. Although a ski shape isn't that complex in itself but in terms of vacuum pressing it is. If you just use silicone sheet...

When I contacted them in Sweden I was contacted by a guy in Norway!! After that I didn't hear anything. Possibly because my printer wasn't listed. Epson R1900. So I took the chinese road. :-) Unlike some others, I haven't had any issues with the ink...yet

Next thing is to tidy up and "rebuild" the workshop. It's a mess, as you can see on some of the pictures, and needs a facelift!

I've used it in the last 6 pair. I ran out of ABS and got the idea to test cork. As I wrote before , easy to work with and together with epoxy and fiberglass it feels like an ok distance material. It's the bulletin board kind. Easy to bend and form, no flame treatment needed. :)
I got the idea from you ;) and a surf board builder I met in Portugal last summer. He had/has cork in the top and tail. Only with epoxy and a thin fiberglass weave. Felt rock solid!
