@ Skammy: Don't know how much I did put into it. Mainly used parts from my old CNC milling machine and for the new one... so did mainly put a lot of time into this project. @ Falls: If I would like to bend a contant radius I did not build this beast ;) To tune the bender I will have to make a lot of...

I think that feeding the edge is indeed one of the problems we have to solve. However, the edge was feed through as long I did not bend the edge too much. So changing the geometry will maybe solve this problem. The two bottom rollers which are powered can deliver a torque of about 12Nm so quite a lo...

I would like the opinion of you guys on the following situation. Assuming we want to bend a radius of 40mm (without relapse) I would like to sketch four situations. Drawing 1, the current situation. The two bottom rollers have 120mm between the centres (caused by belt pulleys) and the centre roll ne...

CNC Edge bender
I did recently build my first CNC edge bender...
It's still a beta version and needs some important updates to improve it, however it seems to work great
To optimize this design I will post some discussion points later today...

Finally I found the files of the ski calculations... Check them out at: http://www.lucverhamme.nl/skibuilding/ski_calculations.zip The file contains different Matlab m-files and I once started with the creation of a graphical user interface but didn't complete this yet. I would really appreciate it ...
