MonkeyCAM tutorial online Skype event - please register here
ok I see a few people showed interest in a tutorial on MonkeyCAM. I propose that I run an interactive session where I can demo MonkeyCAM for Windows and MAC users to show you what its all about, as best I can. You guys all have your strengths and some/most/all of you have more cnc experience than me...

good luck with CDW !!!!!
classic, when I first dealt with CDW they referred me to the Chinese fellas, they were a waste of space. I finally got in touch with Mark Zadak from CDW USA (I think thats his name, a good German lad assigned to the USA branch of CDW!!!) and he was helpful although tended to come back with quite bri...

From what I understand the 3ph uses less energy to run the equipment and the motors last longer because of the way the motor is configured. I have no idea just what I thought I knew. Just because you have the 3ph power doesnt mean you have to use it for all your appliance in your home. 3 phase moto...

Rich, Are you saying that MonkeyCam and replace Snocad for what I am trying to do? Well the plan is to get snoCAD and MonkeyCAM more tightly integrated, so snoCAD is the front end design gui interface and then you can use MonkeyCAM to spit out the gcode in literally milliseconds, ready to do all th...

Rich, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am looking to import 3D images to be able to profile my cores with a CNC. No, I do not have my own CNC but I work at a school that just got one so I've been self-learning via youtube to be able to use it for some of my ski building stuff. Currently, I just cut my ...

Re: Snocad-X Core and Profile export
Hey Guys, I am looking to export my designs from snocad into my other CAD program before I send it off to my cnc. However, I want to export my core with the profile together. As of right now when I export, it is giving me these two things separately. Is this possible? petefromluck Hi, Are you meani...

I wouldn't call it herd mentality. I do most things differently to most but I see a pretty major issue with that set up being the huge gaps between hoses where as far as I can see there is no pressure applied to the cat track. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I am seeing. The idea has some merit tho...

Hey Richie, Thanks I made an edit... How did I forget that! In terms of split specific dims do you mean placement of hardware etc? that would be great if you have it. Also, what thickness are you running on your cores for a split? Do you change? I imagine a 1 - 1.5mm thicker in the middle/underfoot...

Re: Boards of Prey split
Hey guys, So, I am starting a new topic as the old one, although not much has happened in it is quite old. I wanted to keep this separate and hopefully update it a little more. I am making a split so I can start playing a little in the sidecountry/back country and possibly do my av cert this year o...

Innegra
You might try a thin layer of innegra fabric over your regular composite, supposed to have properties like kevlar, can be sanded without fuzzing and lighter than carbon and it's pretty bright white looking at the SUP boards made out of it I tried Innegra 6oz weight (I think it was 6oz at least) bia...
