Some help in/around Bozeman MT

Hey all. Apologies in advance for not knowing where to stick this request, moderator can move as you see fit. I'm looking for a kind soul to help out a friend of mine. She's got a pair of skis I made for her a few years back now, and the tips are splayed open due to my ridiculous choice of spacer ma...

Just found these guys yesterday, while looking for someone else. They're in Cali (of course), but here you go... http://www.woodsurfboardsupply.com/contact.html On a side note, I've been doing a good bit of research on the trees, and am thinking of starting a small tree farm, so in a few years I may...

Squatch Burn- We've dealt firsthand with the creeping camber before, awesome right? Goz has you on the right track, for sure go symmetrical with your lay up first, then start tweaking elsewhere. You'll have a good chuckle when you mount those puppies up and find the misplaced camber, while perhaps v...

No blush so far, but after reading the links des posted i'd have to say just pure luck. I'm subterranean, and normally at this step in the Fall, so the conditions are cool for sure, but tend to be pretty dry. Now I'm nervous amine blush. Thanks!

We did a few pair with Entropy CLR over veneer... I echo Vinman, looks great, and held up fine through season one. Planning on going that way with all the veneer tops this year.

All have mentioned good stuff to look out for, I'd add making sure your hoses are not over inflating, and that they lay directly over your skis. I know I've seen some twist stemming from off lined bladders in the past.

Nice! But... is that a sticker on your AFD???? How much excess material was there post press? Was there any FG proud of the ski, and if so, was it dry? As far as getting epoxy into your void, I've had success running an x-acto blade, to prep the area, then use a sanded down piece of aluminum flashin...

Primo indeed, kudos. You should be psyched, it's always tempting to dwell on the imperfections, but that's what motivates you for the next build.

A sheet of FG above your top blanket (and below your bottom blanket) will help tremendously with heat loss too. Also, where on your blanket are your TC wires reading from? Remember, that's the spot your getting all your temp information from, so if they're near the ends of your blanket (which they p...

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention I had already contacted Epic, they have some toxic green but no yellow. The search continues.

Thanks again though, I appreciate the help!

In need of some yellow

Any kind souls have some yellow base material out there? I'm in a bit of a bind and cannot find any out there on the interweb (except for crown, who I'm having trouble getting a reply from concerning a short order).

I only need 2 meters, but am willing to buy a bit more if required.

Thanks!

for any interested parties, I've started an east coast summit thread in the Après section. Something else to consider, most of the hotels/condos in Summit County, CO are all looking for guests in April, and are usually willing to make some great deals. Would be a nice "central" location, c...

East coast summit

Brought this up in another thread, thought I might give the idea it's own thread to see if there's any interest. Was thinking of hosting an East Coast builders summit this Spring/late winter in the Mad River Valley of VT. I work at a little inn here in the valley and could arrange a nice package dea...
