Except press fitting bolts normal bolts are not designed for shear!!! For shear the bolts should clamp the two surfaces well (they should also be not painted and not too smoth) so the surfaces create the friction against shear. For this you need 10.9 or better....

Hornbach has nice little plastic clamps. They work good and are cheap. If u need i make a pic I was at hornbach the other day, and looked at them.. they were not that cheap. particularly if you want large numbers of the things. Pretty well fitting is not enough ;) Use a dot of glue every 4th teeth or so. If both sides of the base have same structure, just flip it. The old superglue will get off when you grind the base. Just sand it down before you glue on the edges again so that you have no high spots during pressing. Or s...

Sticking sheets together is always a hassle. I print it out 1:1, cut out a half (one side only) master template (4mm board) and use this to route the core template (mdf). So its symetrically. Still no cnc and still a few steps but like this you can do more complicate shapes (if you need to)

The second one works good, u will like to have a longer handle and leverage to avoid blisters. Ask me why i know this ;) A padded handle is a good idea, my first version was not padded which resultet in blisters.

J-Tek can deliver enough colors for 7 or even 9 color printers. So thats not the problem. The 3 colors more for my printer will be still cheaper then the time needed to setup a rip. But ... my question was targeted more towards the results. I have not much experience with sublim right now. For photo...

How many Sublim Colors?

I have two possibilites for sublim:

1.

4 color ink CMYK via RIP

2.

7 color ink C LC M LM Y B LB

(on a epson 7600)

How many colors do you guys use for sublimation? As many as your printer allows or just the reduced set?

The big adantage of the blue is that you get spareparts like bearings from bosch (and longer and beefier power cables too afaik). 80% of my boschs are blue. But with the green (the router and a jigsaw) im quite happy (in relation to the pricetag). And i did a lot of routing during the last years... ...
