Re: Section8-titanal
Tried to add some pics, but got a note that the files were too big🤔 just regular pics. The max file size is currently 1MB, so you'll need to resize your pics down a bit. The error message was quite poor, so I went ahead and modified the upload script to tell you the relevant sizes. Hopefully that h...

Re: Happy Monkey's process
Well, I haven't updated this in a while. I'll see about tossing a few pics and details in here of my efforts over the past few years. I haven't been building nearly as much, but I'm still into it :) Here's a 30x time-lapse of me adding edges to a base: https://youtu.be/AkbyyPXv0go And here's a 30x o...

Embedding videos in posts enabled
I have added the Media Embed Plugin to the site, which allows you to embed, say, Youtube videos in your posts. Let's not start Rickrolling each other or the Mods will have to get involved, but I think we can put this to good use.

Hosting images on the forum enabled
We have enabled image uploads to the forum! Kam and I talked about it and looked at the total number and size of images linked to the forum in the past. It's actually a pretty modest amount of space, and we think hosting images here is worth it. So I've enabled "attachments" to posts, whic...

Re: Recent site issues (Winter 2019)
I've chatted with Kam and we're working on the user registration process. I've added reCAPTCHA v2 as an anti-spam measure and turned registration on. I'll keep a close eye on it daily for a while here to see if I've opened the floodgates to spam or not. If you see any crap creeping in, lemme know. I...

Recent site issues (Winter 2019)
Hey gang, as you likely noticed, the site was down for a bit there. I've been helping to get it going again, and you'll see that we're on the most recent of phpBB now (3.2.5). The previous version was 11 years old, so, yea, there are differences. And there may have been things lost in the conversion...

I literally cut a trench in the core blank and inlay the sidewall material, then proceed from there. Here's a pic, and a link to my full core building process. http://www.happymonkeysnowboards.com/MonkeyWiki/index.php?title=Construction_Overview https://storage.googleapis.com/mmm-public/stable-imgs/...

You can keep it really simple and simply place your heat blankets between two sheets of metal. If it helps, here's a description of my stack: http://www.happymonkeysnowboards.com/Mo ... ion#Layers

The Wayback Machine has been pretty hit-or-miss for me in terms of images, especially image links to other sites. But it is absolutely worth a shot if you can't find your old images! I did get a few from it when I was trying to fix-up my posts. Reliable, stable image links are possible, see my post ...

... but I have far too many pics that I've posted over the years to figure out where they are in the forum ... I did this part for you.
