(I don't use Miller Studio) Regarding sublimation, I don't know if the reverse process applies? Anyone? I mean, how many t...

You mean no top sheet at all? I was thinking in using screen printed graphics and another layer on top of that. So you say press with fabric on top and then varnish once removed from the press? Yes If this is your first pair, focus on the basic parts like aligning the core, attaching the edges, get...

Re: Ch
..Love the bandsaw core profiler - plan on doing the cores this week. Did you end up making a heat blanket or are you using a heater you attach to an insulated box still. I made a heat blanket like troublemakers so I'm curious how well it works with the vacuum press if you're using a blanket. Origi...

Tips on vacuum pressing and why I haven't switched to pneumatic pressing..yet :) : 1: Steel frame, minimize the chances of leakage around the perimeter. 2: Silicone membrane.I use 1,5mm. Not the cheapest material around but for the purpose very flexibel and durable. Can be used with fairly high heat...

I don't know... They won't appear in the snow. If you know what I mean..pmg wrote:Hi OAC,
how did that ski ride?
I will continue to work and experimenting with regular composites. It's enough of parameters there, for me, to play with.
You shouldn't hesitate to try and test. This is just my experience.

I took a turn into the flax road, this summer, and made a pair with it. Mostly because I've heard alot of it especially here on the forum. Honestly, I was/am really disappointed about the outcome. I used the biax in one layer under and above the core combined with a uni FG. First, it consumed way to...
