Thanks for Infos guys! I already did ski boards out of this mold, so im quite confident that the boards hold their shape in use. The thickness of the core makes a difference in springback. This was clearly to see for me, thicker core makes less chamber and less rocker. Changes between the boards was...

Sure its better to cut up, but how many of us like to cut up nice boards ;) Me it helped a lot to start transparent (with vaac). Could see movements, trapped resin, dry spots, air, thickness of laminate (limited of course)... I would say except point 1 and partly point 2 you can evaluate the others ...

Springback compensation
Some of you say that its necessary to overengineer the mold to compensate springback of tip/tail/camber. On the other hand some friends say its not necessary on theirs setup, they build with carbon in a pneumatic press with reasonable heat... !? Maybe they build flat(ter) skis ;) I know it depends o...

If you dont need to go high temp, maybe try this one:
http://shop1.r-g.de/item/390176
Its quite cheap, goes up to 145 degrees and is good stretchable. Till now im happy with it.
Maybe its not as elastic as silicone, you have to compare.

@vinman: Will try to rabbet the abs after profiling next time. Did replace the torn up parts and had to rabbet them again ... this was working without problems. So i see no disadvantage in rabbeting after profiling (maybe my router bit is pushing down good, its one with replaceable hss blades). Next...
