My dad had tips on his skiis like yours. Was that tip design a nod to the past? Very cool. I only tried one back flip and it was bad.

'What goes up must come down'.. but i did overrotate it a bit. Usually happens when I havent done it for long.
I did a lot of 'offroad' crooscountry skiing earlier this winter on a pair of old wooden skis with tips like that and they looked so cool so I had to use it in mine. I call them Modern Antics.

Just found this photo of me skiing on the Eyeball skis during a rad day of backcountry last year in the Cottonwood canyons. Thought it could go here.

And something a bit newer, some more backcountry stoke. Sorry no skiers in here. This is from the Taos backcountry about two weeks ago. Skied the narrow line at the left of the picture on my new Panda Bear skis.

Maybe the last powder day for the EC. Temps go way up next week. Maybe we'll still get another storm or two. Fingers crossed

Conditions will be ok today. It is supposed to warm p significantly. While it stays cold notch OB trees will still be powdery ontop of a very firm base. Soft I spots gnar in others.

Finally got some snow in Squaw. 6 feet in three days filled things in nicely.

Skiing Eagles's Nest(McConkey's) today, navigating the steeps through some pepper.
