Snowsports Industries of America Tradeshow

Post by flatlander »

Hey everyone. I'm heading down to the SIA tradeshow in Vegas this month to check out next years gear. Just wondering if anyone wanted to meet up and talk shop. Let me know.

Cheers, Steve.

No sweat, I'll post some shots for everyone. The only real preview I've heard is that Rossi will be unveiling a new way of looking at topsheet art. Should definitely be an interesting show.

yeh, as far as i know rossi has a pretty fat rockered:

salomon brings up some more rockered stuff, völkl (chop stick 148/128/148 and kuro 164/13x/139 ) and BD (megawatt, 188, 153-125-130 but no idea if rockered or not...)

so i can`t wait to see the rockered stuff.

Also, anybody know if it is worth bringing skis for a day at Brian head?

I wonder if this is the Rossi hoopla:

Basically, topsheets designs by different artists. Haven't snowboard companies been doing this for a while?

Voila':

Cool design and marketing sell more skis than tech and research.

well, but this is neither new nor uncommon... normally the only thing that changes year after year are topsheets and grafics, the shapes are pretty much the same for every model...right? ;)

Thanks for the links. Not that different, too bad, but still cool. Any other takers on the show?
