Very nice !

..so they staple the sidewalls... interresting, and it doesn't look like the sidewalls are thinner than the core..

Also, since I used to ski with rowen many many many years ago, and have known him a long time I don't feel bad critiquing him.

Dude - proofread your stuff before posting it! You moved closure to the mountain? The epoxy fumes and fiberglass dust must be getting to you. So awesome to see you guys thriving, one of these days me and kev will get down there to see the new place.

Thanks for sharing your story, keep up the good work!

I think they are just stapling the tip spacers on, not the sidewalls.

Right you are Twizz
"Fall" update more like.
Bad grammar/spelling is all part of the facebook generation :) Plus I dare say at this time of year lack of sleep is a major problem for those guys.

I think they use double sided tape to hold the sidewalls on and use staples to attach tip spacer to the outside edge of the sidewall.
Iggy has always strongly said that the sidewall rebate for edge teeth is essential so I reckon it just looks like the sidewalls are equal height to the core.

yess that's what I thought too (the double-sided tape) but I can't see no roll of tape nor peeled protective layer on their workbench... I use x2-sided tape to hold my bases to their template when routing/edge bonding and there is always some of this peeled plastic everywhere until I put it into the trash !

Also, what't that tool in the 2nd picture ?
it looks like something like that, but modified I guess... : Image
It's not the first time I see thins kind of tool in a video or on picture but I'm not sure what it is, what it's used for and how they use it...

Rode a chair in Japan today with a guy from Utah on some ON3P caylors. They had an awesome wood veneer topsheet that looked pretty sweet.
Nice to see them creeping into other corners of the world.
