I may be being completely stupid here (and most likely overlooking the simplest of things!), but... every time I visit the site I have to log on again, I can't seen to find a "keep me logged on" tick box? Also, I have to log on twice before the site recognizes I've actually logged on?

What am I doing wrong? This is the only forum I have this issue with?

Yep. Try saving a link to new posts and log in via that. It works for me most of the time (still have to log in but only once)

Yes that seems to work better! I can at least see whats new now!!!

The other issue solved now is the new posts are highlighted whereas when I had to log in twice it wouldn't highlight new posts
