you guys are beyond hardcore! :D
do you also use some kind of computer program to come up to design your skis?
how do you figure out the dimensions?
i got so many questions to ask...

hi tele-bum, welcome to the site!

for drawing up the skis i like to use a simple CAD program that lets me print out a full-scale drawing over multiple pages. most programs that you can get for free on the web will work, for example turbocad is a good, easy program to work with.

i define my dimensions first by simply selecting the waist width of the ski. the other dimensions (tip and tail width) are then determined by specifying the turning radius. a lot of it right now is just going by feel but hopefully we'll start to use some our engineering skills to design our skis in a more mathematical manner.

feel free to ask as many questions as you want. it's pretty much the main purpose of the forum.
