Where to buy steel edge?

Post by scape.oz »

Hello
Sorry for my English. I am from Russia.
Prompt please where you can buy in a long steel edge rullone?
The search found only a short steel edge 1 snowboard. I want to buy long not cut.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

We also got steel edges on the roll, so not cut. Send me a PM if you are interested or you could place an order at www.bmb-ski.nl

Cheers,
Buuk

Haha, it's not that difficult.

The idea was to create a ski that has the following properties:
- Additional length in deep powder snow
- Short running length on piste
- Stiff tail when landing cliff jumps

So the idea was to create a 'spoon-like' tail

We stopped te wood core before the 'fold' starts. We put felt, drained with epoxy in the remaining part of the tail and while pressing we just placed a wedge in the mold on both sides of the tail. Pretty easy :)

We called this ski 'Stealth'

Cheers, Buuk

nice, but how did you get enough pressure on the tail? did you make a conforming top mold as well?
