Longboard skateboard building.

Post by nzjibber »

OK I know this is supposed to be ski/snowboard design and layup but I couldn't think of anywhere to put this apart from apres ski building which doesn't get much traffic, so I decided to put it here.

Im thinking about building a longboard but I have no idea how.
Does anyone have any experience with building longboards?

Ive had a look round the net but haven't been able to find any decent informational.

Can anyone help me out here?

Cheers

I have built a few longboards, no ski but would like to. The process is pretty much the same as what you guys are using for skis. you could probably even use your presses for the same thing. Just think of it as just the core with out everything else on top of it.

I am a Material Science teacher. We build this kit. It is really slick and uses vaccume infusion. You don't have to touch the resin. The resin is polyester instead of epoxy and is thinner. http://www.fiberglasssupply.com/html/schools_home.html
Good Luck!
