Something must have gone wrong with those skis! I've never had a paulownia core board delaminate...i'm guessing something was fishy with either your epoxy or the surface preparation of the woocore.

Did you make ribs out of the boards an glue them together again or did you use the boards as they were? Mine actually seperated in the woodcore itself under the binding. I could get you a picture of it as soon as get home to sweden again.
But it sounds good that using it. Then maybe i could get the confidence to use it again. It was a nice material to work with.

I glue several boards together to a big block which i resaw on my bandsaw to get the core blanks. However, I always put two boards of beech in there as well because paulownia is way too soft to hold bindings in. You can't do a full paulownia core without adding some denser wood under the binding area.
