Post by vol »

Hi all,

I saw the video where graphics are printed with Fuji UV Flat bed printer

Is it the UV print bond well with epoxy?
Any experience?

There were a couple companies doing this a few years back. It seems to have gotten more prominent. I've looked into this a few times over the years and haven't found a cost effective solution. Note in the video, they are printing a base, inside, and then whitewash it. Miller studios used to offer epoxy screen prints. Junk supply has some notes on topsheets: https://www.junksupply.com/printing-graphics/

Last time i looked into this there were some desktop injet style printers that people we're mucking around with converting to epoxy ink. I can't find those links right now, maybe it never panned out.

Hopefully others have more helpful info
