yep, just the paper with five coats two part poly on top. top sheets just add weight and aren't any tougher then the poly.

Looks great!

Anyone that have tried this over CF? Does it still look this good?

Regular paper turns translucent when soaked with epoxy, black CF would not make a nice looking graphic, but maybe this method will work...

From your posts it seems like you have tried both plastic top-sheet and coating treatment on top of graphic layer. Wich one do you prefer?

Still no delams when using top-sheet?

Still looks just as good. I epoxy coat, then urethane coat everything now as it looks better/repairable. No more physical top-sheet for me except for testing different layups so I don't have waste time finishing.

There is a way to doing it so it doesn't become transparent. And it doesn't involve painting the back. I'll keep it secret for now :D

This is 27lb matte paper. Epoxy and urethane top coat.
