Socrp Duraclear topsheet

Post by Toddh77 »

Anyone interested in Socrep Duraclear Topsheet material? I'm looking at purchasing some, but I have to buy 200m which leaves more than enough to go around. After I pay for shipping from France, I'd be looking at selling it for $10 per meter. This is the same stuff that Rossignol and Dynastar use on some of their skis. http://www.socrep.com/ang/products/ski/index.html#top

Let me know if you have any interest, its a big commitment to buy 200m, but I'll do it if some people would like to take some off my hands.

Min order from iso is like 3000m
I suggest you talk to vince from miller studio as he has experience with many of these materials and there is a reason he uses and carries what he does.

I'll give him a call to see what he says. 3000m of Iso is definitely not an option. The Duraclear i've tested looks great, but I'm always open for better options. Thanks for the info

I'll order few rolls of clear topsheet material from socrep soon.
Here are the details:
Duraclear 0.3mm thick, 500mm wide, with protective film on top

more we are to order, cheaper the freight charges will be (sea freight, custom duties, brokerage, etc)

PM if you are interested,

We might order if we knew what this was? Is this a textured material? Is it UHMWPE nylon? Or something else? I have never seen this stuff.

It is TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) with UV stabiliser. Gloss finish, corona treated on the bonding side and protective film on the top side.
very common material in the ski and snowboard industry. Socrep is probably the biggest supplier of clear topsheet in the industry.

I've already received 10m sample, and I'm working out the details for a 200m order. I'll let everyone know when I get the final prices for shipping and customs. Should be in the next week or two.

Raccoon -» if you have a couple meters you don't mind to sell I might take some when you got it, just to have a look at the material and see if I can do something I like with it.
Thanks

Ya, this sounds like good topsheet. I will also purchase a few meters from you. Thanks for the offer.

Cheers,
