QCM 32 Hardener

Post by Dr. Delam »

I've got a few gallons of extra QCM 32 hardener if anyone in Reno/Tahoe could use some.

ECA-032
Medium Cure Hardener
Description:
ECA-032 is a medium cure hardener capable of curing at room temperature but optimal physical properties
occur when cured between 160 – 190˚F in a heated compression molded press. ECA-032 is designed to
minimize skin irritation potential. ECA-032 provides optimal adhesion, flexural and impact strengths in all
types of composite sporting goods. Skis, snowboards and paddles are some of the products manufactured
with ECA-032. Compression molding and Air-Bag press temperatures between 170 – 180˚F will cure skis
and boards in approximately 20-25 minutes. Vacuum bagging is also an effective method but elevated
temperatures are still recommended. These times and temperature will vary depending on press conditions
and ambient temperatures. Test and approve all press conditions and cure profiles in your ski or board
design.
Advantages:
• Improves adhesion to difficult substrates.
• Medium cure.
• High strength and excellent chip resistance.
• Low viscosity and low color.
