HELP!! Alumimium/.032/soft temper /camber failure to hold

Post by teleman36 »

Made a few builds with Soft temper .032 alu. Used as a dampening layer. Alu. not carried all the way out over to the outside edge of the sidewalls. Placed directly over the core. No bonding issues. Looks nice and flexes sweet. Now the bad part. When flexed aggresively can be put into negative camber. Ya, full rocker. When flexed back camber can be reintroduced to the ski.WTF? Is the metal too thick, too soft, only one layer an issue? Please share your thoughts asap, am in the middle of building 15 pairs at the moment.
