I have been playing around with the SS and had some questions. I am unsure of the orange and green plots for deflection and what they are showing. If I change the length of ski, they don't follow with the change, can someone help me understand this. Also, the array of point deflections at the lower right hand side of the SS does not change with the length of ski chosen, what are these used for?
Thanks!
Bob

Bob - the green and orange curves are 2 skis (G3 Reverends & Fisher Tstix) that I measured and put on there for reference. The plots should not change! The array of points at the lower RHS are the plots for these skis. You can just delete them if you want but if gave me some confidence that I was in the right ballpark.
WSM - stiffness units... mmmm
Everything is converted to SI so off the top of my head that should be Youngs modulus (N/M^2) multiplied by the second moment of area (M^4) so that would be N M^2 I think.
Apologies for the general lack of user friendliness - I really just hacked it together for myself, but I'm happy to try to answer any specific questions. Perhaps I'll make a slicker version to post.
