Hello Guys
this is directed to EU Builders.
who of you guys have bought heat blankets from MEI Directly???
IF yes, Did your Customs (aduane) ask for the EU conformity Declaration from MEI.
If yes, How did you solve it...??
Because i have mines on the customs and they ara asking me for the papers and the guys from MEI dont have such paper, what i think its a bit wierd...
so If you guys ave any paper (fake one) or any idea how to do it, just leave me some feedback
Hugo

That's a bummer. It looks like the blankets are not CE listed, and to be sold in Europe they are required to be. I think you are going to have to return them to MEI and insist on a refund, as they should absolutely know that they do not have CE listing, and it is a violation of law in the EU for them to be selling their blankets over there.
Alternatively a representative from MEI must sign a EU conformity declaration. MEI may not have one, but they absolutely should work with you.

hugo,
It sounds odd, but I don't use them, I use carbon heaters (received them as a favour)
I just know from all my research that they are the industry leader here in the UK for quality and price. They have a design department too, so you have options.
Looks like OAC can point you to another brand in Europe that might be easier also ... and did you see this: viewtopic.php?t=3096
Hope this helps
