Easy sidewalling bit

Post by mattman »

So we just use a sloped platform and a regular flush cut bit...but I know a lot of people have tried to come up with a dovetail bit type of solution. Well I stumbled across this while x-mas shopping and thought it might be useful. A butterfly or bowtie bit is also 14deg and based on the numbers given it looks like a 7/16 OD bearing would work perfectly at the base of the cutter. Plus you have 3/4" of cut length which is plenty. Hope it helps someone.
