MM is that the A. S. K. material that I have heard of? Heard it is pretty nice stuff.

Some of the alpine board manufactures out there use rubber sheet as a dampening material. A board of mine that I cut apart had perforated rubber and below the titanal layers.

Does this rubber have to be a specific rubber like VDS? Better question, what type of rubber is VDS? Butyl, neoprene, EPDM, gum rubber? I''ll have to talk to Sean Martin from Donek to see what he uses.....

Yes ask is the japanese company asher sheet. Its the same but different.
It vulcanized rubber and noone in the world but these two companies makes this shit at least that I can find.

The mins from ask are less but 3 times the price cause its japanese and prolly radioacive.
Its not that bad to order from cdw in single rolls.
Ill post some to kiwiland if you need it no prob.

Do you have any rabbets in the core to receive these VDS layers? The 1 edge layer seems a minimal impact (.008"), but once you have 3 layers in there...its nearing 1/32".

matt, I read that as a single layer between the edge and base layer of glass and between the sidewall and top layer of glass.
