On my end in the PC world you just need to unvip, double click on the JAR file and she open up.

It's the same as for the PC, as long as you have Java installed - double-click on the jar file and the job's a good 'un.

I am Having trouble, the file will not launch for me.

I downloaded it but when I double click the jar file it does not launch.

Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have java installed? Stupid question, I know, but OSX defaults to "No Java" since Lion.

Yes I've had java for a long time, and it is updated.

Just got started on Draftsight a free 2D drafting program from Dasault systoms. Gotta do something for backup.

Anybody have any experience with that program?

If you're importing dxf to DS from SC, then you want to run a check for accuracy. I had a few issues with the waist being in a different place in DS ... a few years ago now.
