Prospect New Shop

Post by prospectsnow »

Took the jump and upgraded our shop to a nicer location. I was in the back of a local snowboard/Boat shop.

The new spot has some nice retail space for retail and a little warehouse space for a factory floor.

After spending the past 3 years living cheap and pushing every extra dollar to building the machines the setup is ready. The rent, insurance, bills, and space are all more expensive than what I pay for a living space. Man business is expensive.

Nothing is easy in building this stuff, but it is fun!
I don't consider myself the absolute expert in building, business, nor do I claim to have "made it".

I do applaud the guys that have started their shops from zero and make it season to season. Managing this stuff takes some discipline. If anyone knows how to continue the snow bum lifestyle while making building a business please give me some instruction.

Cheers and thanks guys. I genuinely appreciate the forum.

Monkey, your open source documentation was incredible help.
That CAM software you made is looking tasty since CNC may be coming soon.

You are 1 step.... eerrrr 1000 steps ahead. :)
