Yes, the "real" racing skis nowadays are hard as hell and have little camber.
I have a 193cm long Völkl GS racer as well, thats a really nice ski though its so hard and long . once its on the edge its going nowhere else. But for my racing skills 27m radius is waaay too much, so I built a ski that has the edge grip of the 193cm Völkl but has 21m radius - perfect for me :)
A bit too much camber maybe, but it will wear out when the ski is skied more :)
