Question about inconsistencies in bottom mold
Hello all! I have yet to press a pair of skis, but I am getting there. I didn't follow anyone's idea for adjustable molds and the result might be disastrous!
I never know the right wording to search the forums but I didn't find anything that explicitly answered this question:
If on top of this bottom mold I stack Masonite or hardboard, aluminum sheet, heat blanket, another aluminum sheet and then layup cassette, is there any chance
that the ugliness of my bottom mold won't transfer to my ski?
Pictures to come since I am an illegitimate member haha
They will be clamped together with pipe clamps during layup so the actual gap might be smaller.
