definately not the world's first carbonfibre skis though. that would have been early 70's

But maybe it is the first carbon / kevlar-honeycomb core.
As you the core is flexible till it was been laminated.
A company in US (Exe ?) wa using alluminium honeycomb, years ago.

They put the whole mold in a vacum bag, maybe i should do this, seems easier than fussing with taping a sheet down
