I cant wait until we get into it full-bore, we only have five different shapes so we're hoping to bang out like 30+ boards by mid october.
not sure how long it really took.....but most work in probably 6 weeks. but pressing one ski at a time with a single heat blanket definitely made it much longer than it needed to be.

haha thats awsome! How have those bamboo sidewalls been holding up? have you had any durability problems compared to standard plastic sidewalls? I have been thinking of switching to bamboo due to some delamination problems I have been having during routing with p-tex side walls. check out my journal if you have any tips/ suggestions.

they will work ok i think. Mainly trying to dial in shapes, flex, and rocker, so didn't want to deal with the issues of bonding sidewalls.

If i am able to get myself into a position to start producing these, though, I will be switching to plastic if that says anything.

Everything is looking great!!!!
What are you doing in terms of finishing/grinding/structuring your bases?

Whenever I take a new pair into a ski shop they never grind off enough of the bases/epoxy to totally flatten them. I guess it's a good thing that they err on the conservative side when grinding away base material.

bases are belt and then stone ground in a shop I trust.

Have not had any issue getting them flat thus far. hopefully soon enough I will be grinding them myself.

David's friend edited a bit of footage of him on some wrenegades and blue steeles over his winter break so I thought I would post it up.

Here is also some footage of Will Vicik on wrens in some heavy snow at mission ridge.

Spotted a pair of your boards at Solitude on Sunday. Looked pretty cool. The guy said they were his sons.
