Went out with the Goose skis. These are 1mm - 12mm - 1mm and I thought they would be too soft. Went out the other day and skied them in powder (on the north facing solpe) and spring on the western slope. The skis worked great. Seemed to float well and worked good with skins. Althoug I had to make a custon tip clip due to the wide tips. We departed outside of the local resort and climbed to a wonderful north facing bowl that had not been touched. Only got one run before we had to head back (needed to get the kids at school, bumer). Only complaint about the skis is the tip is too soft for groomer runs at the resort. They want to wash out while turning. Here are a few pics of the area and the day.
