For my highschool senior project i made my own homebuilts. At the end of the year everyone has to present their project to a panel and to fellow students. A boston globe representative sat in on my presentation and one other students. here's the article

my skis were 182cm 115-82-115 fully symetrical with 15mm of camber and a 19m turning radius. core is 1" laminated poplar.

Got any better pics of the presentation and skis?
I used to be a lifeguard, but some blue kid got me fired.

hah good to see some else doing that for their senior project, i'm doing this same thing right now! but mine probably won't get in the paper =(.

Good work. I am glad to see that the youth is getting so involved. I wish my high school had let people do projects like this. All anyone ever made in our shop class was jewelry boxes and coat racks. Arc 'em and spark 'em.
