cutting bits w/ball bearings
I was wondering if any straight router bits come with ball bearings or if they need to be purchased separately. Most of the ones i see at hardware stores don't come with bearings.
They usually come with the bearings. What you are looking for is called a flush trim bit (bearing on bottom) or a pattern flush trim bit (bearing on top). Most general hardware store won't have a good selection of bits. Specialty stores, like Rockler or Woodcraft will have a good selection of quality bits. I would suggest spending a little more and getting a good carbide tipped bit, they cut much better and last much longer.
