Hello! I'm new in the forum.
Over the summer built my first ski-press and 2 pairs of skis. It worekd out wonderfully!
For the press I decided to use a hose, half-filled with water, which makes the whole thing much more simple and cheaper. It worked out really well and I can recommend to do it like that!
Anyway, here are the pixx! Let me know what you think of my production!

looks good? How did the pressure work out in the tips area?
I'd say water is fine to use, you might want to "burp" it though, i'm not sure you want any air mixed in there, no?
Looks like a great way to get a pressure equalizer for clamp style press.
were these capped or sidewall skis? might want to consider adding the cat-track to get the uniform pressure across the width.

What a great idea! Great way to get even pressure distribution with a screw type press. Looks like it worked well too.
Im assuming you put water in the hoses laid them over the skis, and then screwed down the top mold.
Was the water heated prior to pressing?
I wish I could understand the captions in your photos!
