Large Ski Press for Sale (Broomfield, CO)

Post by NEngineer »

Large Ski press for sale. It is big enough to press 2 fat skis or one snowboard simultaneously.
Dimensions of cavity where the mold sits are 90"*16". The press is made of 8" gluelams which makes it very strong.
The top half is on spring loaded hinges and can be opened for more room during the layup process.
In the picture, the vertical steel tubing holds everything together when under pressure.

The fire hose and cat-track are included. The cat-track is made of 3/4" sqare tubing.

Please see the CL posting for images.

Using engineered lumber is a pretty good idea. Looks neat.
P.S. Those look like LVL, not glulam.
