Wow, excellent work! I really like the the graphics, good idea with the pictures. Are they sublimated topsheet?

yeah how are the graphics done? and i can see a discoloration like a strip running through the skiis. is that a dampening strip. i think it looks cool. i didnt know if thats what it was, a part of the graphic, shadow from the shape of the ski or something. if its a dampening strip, what does that do running down the middle? i get the fundamentals about it running down the sides.

The graphics are printed on cloth, the difference in color is different types of woods.

thats awesome! so did you just print them on white cloth with a normal printer? that doesnt mess up your printer? how do i go about doing that? how do you get your printer to print off such a long section? gnarly looking skiis man. ;)

as nick said, how do you get the long cotton graphics? Are you able to do this in house, or is it a local screenprinter?

The cloth is printed by a friend that does mostly flags. Unfortunately it cannot easily be done at home without a very expensive $$$$ printer or a set of screens.

So is the material flag fabric...or your average cotton? I am guessing you dont have to make a new screen for every image...he can print right onto the fabric (with the $$$ equipment)?

thats really cool. i wish i had friends that could do that for me for cheap. so what is the process called? not screen printing, not sublimination, just basically go to a place and ask if they can print onto cotton? would that be expensive if i were to go into a place w/ a graphic?
