I use IS 7500 clear and do sublimation with it, very good very crystal actualy only shrinks 4 cm on lenght and nothing on with (actualy it increase almost 1 cm)

then after press during 10 minutes at 150º ill take it out to a cold press, and let it cool during 2-5 minutes, and it come out very straight, then just give a white coat, and ready cut press...

So you take it out hot and transfer to a cold press and then add pressure?

Nope. I was using .050 aluminum sheets to press it with, then just pulling the sheets with the graphic and leaving the sheets on it until cool. The weight of the sheets seemed to help to keep it straight as opposed to pulling the warm material out without the sheets.

Can you remember how much pressure hugo - I am assuming not much. Place it between two sheets of plate steel as an alt?

After came out from the hot press???

i place it between 2 plate of MDF it helps to cold down straight, is a cheaper solution, it prevents the material moves ( shrink to much)

i press it something like 40 psi

The temp i use Is Celsius... so its 150ºC

Thanks Hugocacola - the subbing and the ski press are in two separate locations, soooooo ... would need to use an alternative option.

Wow that stuff looks really good. Looks like I've got another project.

Brazen you're using an Epson 4880? The graphics look outstanding, but $2500 for a printer is expensive! Are you making boards to sell, or just a hobby?

Well, I hope to be selling boards sometime in the future so I'm setting things up accordingly. I've found a company that has about the best prices on the epson printers, Pro Digital Gear just google them. Nice guys, killer deals.
