Is anyone out there using the CarveWright or Compucarve system to cut out wood cores successfully? If so what software are you using to design your ski and import it into the CarveWright software?

I don't have experience with either of these, but it looks like there's a DXF importer available for $200. You should be able to export from SnoCad and then bring it into your software.

STL files are also fairly common in most CAD software, so that's an alternative as well.

I've thought about it but the run time was something like 7 hours. Painfully long in my opinion. PNG's and JPGs import directly into the software. Depth is controlled using grayscale.

You need to create a .stl file.
