hahaha looks like floppy clown boards. I bet anything flat and smooth would float in powder like that. Interesting ideas but I think the art aspect would be the best function for these boards.

nice link, looks like fun.
proves my point that you dont need anything fancy to shred pow, just some plywood painted white. now lets see those designs preform on anything other than waist deep, and lets see them stand up to more than one sesh.
commune has some cool stuff but it is all a lie, owned by a skateboard giant they are trying to brand the "unique and independent snowboarder" with megamillions in backing. if this is all that they can come up with then we builders are lightyears ahead of them in coolness factor. cool shit.

some cool shapes, and nice riding, by a bunch of retards.

Sorry, but you have to be stupid to ride the slopes they were riding without any gear at all. Slashing a cornice with your pants half way down your ass, and not a shovel in sight.

Stupid.

6 guys riding a 30 degree pow covered slope together with no gear.

Stupid.

Unless of course this is a controlled area of a ski hill, but I highly doubt it, as they wouldn't be allowed on the lifts with those boards.

Still a couple of those shapes built properly would probably be a lot of fun.

My neighbor had a snurfer growing up. If remember it had right it had a grip area for your feet that looked like HD staples, it was a long time ago.

Check this out:

Love the "snowboarding boots" and the binding system ;)
