Core materials

Post by chrvidda »

I´m working on a report regarding materials used in the core. I can see that wood is most common but I´m going to investigate the possiblities of changing it to another type by using the cambridge engineering selector. What is the most important properties to consider and what types of materials can be suitable? I can see that Goode are using carbon fibre and I was thinking about investigating that. I am a newbie on this area so any tips will be very helpful. Thanks
