Just downloaded this new open source solid modelling program from autodesk. It can save as many file extensions that are used by cam software (stl,dwg,dfx ect...) Not really sure how intuitive it is or if it can be used effectively for our application but I will play around with it.

It may be a viable alternative for those who dont want to shell out buku cash or use a dirty copy.
Also for those of you aroung the SanFran area there is a link to a membership based workshop with cnc, 3d printing,welding equip. They use the same business model as a gym, very interesting. I wish there was a franchise near me!
