Faction skis - also madein Poland (Nobile factory).
I don't get one thing - he says that ski is made from balsa but they added some fiber to reinforce ski. He shows a blank core so the reinforcment is in the process of making core itself. I wonder what that is...Anyone?
I also spoke year ago with one of the owners, here in Poland and he said that the cores are made from balsa and PET (same as bottles) - maybe that goes to those holes under bingings? Is that to reinforce mounting places as the balsa would not give good support for binding screws?
Wow! Great - thanks Dtrain!
That looks very interesting - I'll contact them for sure!
Best!

what the heck did he do at 1:10? thats new. I also like how he hangs them after splitting them, not sure why he was pounding the screwdriver in the flashing?

Base die cut at 1:10, tough to do with pressure that low.

I think from memory he was cracking away excess epoxy so the clamps will fit on (throat depth of the clamp). edit: No thats when he hits it with the mallet.
I think the screwdriver is helping free the skis from the metal upright pins on the cassette that help with allignment.
