Are those strips of metal?? That's awesome!

Although does that just mean you'll be trashing your edges instead of your topsheet? ;)

It's Alu. (titanal), so soft it doesn't harm your edges, so hard it doesn't wear down or chip.

10mm strips die cut into the top sheet before layup.

Nice! I've seen some other manufacturers use metal strips like that. Seems that it has to be cut pretty accurately. Did you do it yourself?

it doesn't add much to torsion rigidity, but it definately makes a different ski, the skis have a pretty damp and solid feel to them.

.. and it is much simpler than it looks..

Can you give us an idea on how it's done? You mentioned die cut... any more hints? Does it require metal working tools?
