Sestos programming

Post by troublemaker »

Of those of you using a Sestos PID, Can yall share how it's programmed?
(parameters) Also I have a PT100 that is reading wierd on the PID display, the PT100 is ohming right, 108 ohms for about 60* air temp but on the PID display it's reading -208*. I programmed the controller for a PT100 and checked it many times so thats not the problem. Any ideas would be great.

Any chance of someone posting their settings with the sestos controller?

That has been a long time ago. I think I ended up wiring the PT100 to 5 and 6 and installing a jumper wire from 4 to 5.

I have mine successfully wired up and am now playing with the settings, I know a few guys have had dramas with overshooting temps etc.
It would be cool if people could run through the settings and post what they are using and if they are having success or not. It would be a great data base.

not gonna lie here, scrap it buy a new one, i went with an auber. have you read the instructions, it comical how bad they are. I could never get anything close to a stable temp. worked on with a guy with lots of experience with that kind of stuff and an electrical engineer. 40 bucks for a controller relay and thermocouple is a great for a cheap set up, but crap for a good set up
