Building water skis and wakeboards

Post by prospectsnow »

I did a search on here, found some leads, but need a little more info.

The few vids I've seen, the machine is basically the same as a ski/snowboard press. They just use a Cap mold. I get this for the most part.

I really need to think on this process more before I get into the confused parts...

Just want to put it out there... Anyone have resources?

I think kiteboards are pretty similar... here is a source in english: http://www.kiteforum.com/viewforum.php?f=107 Most people do vacuum bagging.

The process is a lot easier than building skis/snowboards.

Goode posted this vid. Skip about 2\3 Through.
They are using a press.
The hull of the ski, is where I'm confused.
Does anyone know if there is a base material or is it just epoxy?
