The only issue is it's 5" wide. That's not very wide.

I saw the same one, 5inch (127mm) is narrow for today's skis.

I honestly dont think they fontaine made a five inche grinder. Thats a six inch. Pretty big difference. Ask the seller to measure that for real.

I have the same machine but mine has 2 grinders, and MM it is a 5 in wide machine but Im able to run 5.5in belts on mine. Thats a good deal on that, not as good a deal as I got for 200$.

Haha. Ya I have the exact same machine and the plate on mine is 6" and I run 6" belts. The drums are 5" though.

the one I have takes 6 inch belts. Maybe taht s why they went out of buisness.

Does anyone know what type of power these Fontaine machines require? Single phase vs. 3 phase?

Looks like the original Baldor motor. If it is then its single phase. You can wire the motor for either 220 and 110. The wiring diagram is on the spec plate.
